Hanover Drift Jeans, USA made Denim

Every guy needs a pair of jeans he can live in—not just look at. Hanover’s denim is built exactly for that. Made from premium cotton sourced from the legendary Cone Mills in North Carolina and sewn in Los Angeles, our jeans combine timeless fit with modern comfort. They’re based on the Levi’s 502—classic straight leg, but with a touch more room in the thigh and seat.

Available in Raw Indigo, Light Wash, and Washed Black, this is real American denim: no logos, no gimmicks, just perfect fit and feel at a price that makes sense.

Raw Indigo, Light Wash, and Washed Black: Which to Choose?

Raw: The purist’s pick. Stiff at first, softens with wear, molds to your shape. No fake fades, no shortcuts—just honest patina.

Light Wash: Vintage feel, clean fade, lived-in from day one. The most versatile pair you’ll own, and you won’t have to spend hours shopping at vintage shops to find the right pair.

Washed Black: Faded charcoal tone with a broken-in look that feels tailored, not trendy.

FAQ

Are these jeans raw denim or selvedge?
Our Raw option is unwashed and will age naturally like traditional raw denim. It’s not technically selvedge, but it’s made from the same high-quality cotton, without the stiffness or high-maintenance care. You get the look and feel—without the ritual.

How does the fit compare to Levi’s?
They’re based on the 502, with a modern straight leg. Slightly roomier in the thigh and seat, true through the leg, and clean at the ankle. Tailored enough to dress up, relaxed enough to wear daily.

Where are they made?
The fabric comes from Cone Mills in North Carolina, one of the last historic U.S. denim mills. Each pair is cut, sewn, and finished in Los Angeles.

How do they compare to APC or other European denim?
Hanover jeans are less rigid out of the box, more wearable day-to-day, and easier to care for. You get similar quality and silhouette—for $50–100 less.

Do they shrink or stretch?
The Raw denim will shrink slightly after the first wash—about half a size. The Washed options are pre-shrunk and ready to go. All three will stretch subtly with wear and fit better the more you move in them.

How do I care for them?
Raw: Cold soak or minimal washing to preserve fade.
Washed: Cold wash inside-out, hang dry or tumble low.
They’re made to be worn—not babied.

How do they compare to Japanese denim?
If you love the quality and texture of Japanese jeans but don’t want the stiffness, price tag, or ceremonial upkeep—Hanover is your guy. Made in the USA, without the complications.

Is the price worth it?
At $175, you’re getting U.S.-made jeans with heritage cotton, a dialed-in fit, and construction that rivals brands charging double. One pair that replaces three lesser ones.
